Fender Tone Master Super Reverb 4×10″ 45-watt Combo Amp

45W, 2-ch Solid-state 4×10″ Guitar Combo Amplifier with Reverb and Vibrato – Black

Fender’s ’60s Super Reverb Goes Digital!

Diverse artists from Marcus King to Cory Wong have been singing the praises of Fender’s other tube 4×10, the black-paneled Super Reverb, for years. Today, Fender brings the vibe, tone, and handling of this fabled mid-’60s amp to a featherweight digital design. The Tone Master Super Reverb is arguably the most perfect solid-state replication of the legendary tube Super Reverb ever created. One taste of its chewy Blackface sound and the broad reverb drip emanating from its four Jensen speakers and open-back plywood cab is enough to make even the most die-hard Fender fan a believer. The company has gone to great lengths to preserve the dynamics and response of the entire tube circuitry, from the glassy breakup of its input stage to the subtle swing of its vibrato (tremolo). Just like the original, the Tone Master Super Reverb delivers the goods for surf revival to heartland rock and wide-open garage trios. But unlike the original, the Tone Master weighs in at just 36 pounds, so you won’t be taxing your back or stressing your tires getting this amp to the stage. What’s really great about the Tone Master Super Reverb is you can crank up without waking the neighbors; its 5-way power attenuator transparently reduces wattage to let you achieve just the right tube-flavored cluck and saturation for any live and studio setting. You also get an XLR balanced output with two onboard cab simulations for silent stages and recording convenience. The Tone Master Super Reverb gives you footswitchable effects to help you get your tone just right before you hit the gig.

Faithful digital modeling

Using the latest in Fender modeling technology, the Tone Master is able to capture the sound and performance of the seminal all-tube Super Reverb. The harmonic sparkle. The chewy breakup. The highly reactive tone stack. Even digital models of the iconic spring reverb and tube tremolo. It’s all here in the Tone Master Super Reverb. And when it comes time to fill a stage, the Tone Master has output to spare — this 45-watt solid-state amp packs SPLs comparable to the 45-watt tube classic.

Onboard power attenuation

The Tone Master allows you to dial back wattage to an almost-silent 1/2 watt to achieve the desired level of breakup, even run full tilt, in the quietest rooms and venues.

Four Jensen P10R alnico speakers

A quartet of Jensen P10R alnico 10-inch 25-watt speakers endows your Tone Master Super Reverb with authentic ’60s Blackface tone. These are real-deal Jensen speakers inside this cab — the same model countless guitarists and customers have been choosing since their 1999 relaunch. Discerning vintage amp enthusiastics agree: if you’re searching for ’60s-era warmth, sparkle, and heft, Jensen P10R alnico guitar speakers are where you’ll find it.

Lightweight meranti cab

The Tone Master Super Reverb boasts an open-back meranti wood plywood cabinet to supply a lighter haul at no compromise to tone. Though looking at it, you’d never know: the textured black vinyl and silver grille cloth give this amp that undeniable Fender appeal.

Speaker-emulated XLR output

One of the Tone Master’s more modern features is its XLR balanced output, which is useful for creating a silent stage or recording sets without a mic. Two onboard cab IRs (impulse responses) give you a direct feed out to a soundboard. Here you can choose between the familiar bite of a Shure SM57–miked speaker or the natural bloom of a Royer R-121 ribbon. Alternatively, a flat-response option provides seamless integration with your existing IRs. Also included are a ground switch and level control for noise reduction and proper gain staging.

The Tone Master’s familiar control panel yields classic Super Reverb performance and handling.
