The Martin 000-X2E offers the classic design, tone, and playability that has made the 000X series a favorite among guitarists of various styles. The 000-X2E features a Sitka spruce top with HPL back and sides for a bold tone expressed through all three ranges — crisp highs, balanced mids, and rich lows. A select hardwood neck and fingerboard offer wonderful playability and response, great for flat-picking and finger-picking styles. Further, onboard Fishman MX electronics deliver wonderful amplified acoustic tone when you plug in.
Effortless Tuning
The Fishman MX system is mounted in the soundhole of the 000-X2E. The MX translates the natural, airy tone of the 000-X2E capturing its full expression. The MX also comes with a line-of-sight tuner display mounted in the soundhole. This built-in tuner also automatically mutes your guitar as soon as you activate it for silent, onstage tuning!
Vintage construction, modern playability
The Martin Auditorium body has been a favorite among performing guitarists for many decades. It delivers rich low end, while giving each note a balance and clarity that works as a solo instrument, for accompanying your voice, and for layering in a full arrangement. The neck joins the body at the 14th fret for a total scale length of 24.9″. The neck is built with Martin’s Modified Low Oval profile with High Performance Taper to appeal to today’s guitarists.
