The balanced-sounding resonance of alder is at the center of some of the most legendary rock guitar tones of all time. But it doesn’t stop there. The alder features an eye-grabbing Purple Fade finish with light purple pinstripes and a matching back and sides. The LTD Alexi Hexed’s 3-piece, Thin “U”-shaped maple neck is topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard — scalloped from frets 19–24 — which results in a smooth-playing guitar with plenty of snap.
