Premium EMG tone
The H3-1000FR comes with the classic 57/66 EMG combo that’s become a popular standard since its introduction in 2010. These EMGs yield thick mids, defined lows, and piercing highs that can be shaped via the 3-way pickup selector. The 57/66 combo also offers humbucker and single-coil capability. A hybrid ceramic and alnico magnet design outshine the clarity and definition of most coil-tapped humbuckers with premium tone that’s made EMG a household name in the rock and metal world. Coil selection is controlled via push-pull tone knob, and the H3-1000FR has six different voicings right out of the box.
Comfortable compound-radius neck
As the neck gets wider, the fretboard gets flatter. Many find this tapered design useful for soloing and bends, in addition to rhythm playing.
