The Starcaster has a unique two-tiered headstock design that is only found on the Starcaster models, oozes cool, and guarantees you’ll stand out on stage. This axe doesn’t just look good: its awesome tone comes from a pair of Squier Standard humbucking pickups that you can control with the master volume and master tone knobs. Classic Contoured Construction

The Squier Affinity Starcaster has much the same construction as the vintage Starcaster. It has an all-maple laminate body that’s paired with a maple neck and fingerboard. This construction creates a bright attack with a long sustain. The maple neck’s C-shape carve and 9.5″ fretboard radius are perfectly suited to all playing styles and we love the Starcaster’s classy f-holes.

Simple controls and great tonal options

When you plug your Starcaster in for the first time, you’ll appreciate the wide variety of tonal options. The Squier Affinity Starcaster carries two Squier Standard humbucking pickups.
